a hurdle
I do like D'land's new layout. I especially dig the recent entries and online user link boxes. I've found some lovely diaries just clicking over there. That lady never rang back. I don't know why. We had a really good chat on the phone and everything sounded good. I was 100% sure I was going to get called back as it's only a cleaning job. I don't think I'll chase it up though, if they don't respond back I'll leave it and look for others.
I told Dave about my desire to get back into some kind of work and he was supportive but not keen on me working such early shifts. He was concerned it'd be too much for me. Waking 4.30 then working till 7.30, then returning home to do Mum shift till their bedtimes, then I'd have one hour approximately till my early bedtime at 9pm so I can wake up early the next day.
I understand that but I could make it work for 9 weeks. I'd just have to say goodbye to our wine evenings and making sure I get enough sleep. Not easy when I'm a bit of a night owl.
I will just plod on looking hard for a job. It'll come along soon I'm sure.
Something very big and important I must include in this entry is that my little boy will be FOUR tomorrow!
This fact has brought on a little sadness as the last four years have flown by. Hubby feels the same. We're realising how time is zooming past. It's funny how when you turn 20 you think to yourself 30 is soooo way off, a whole ten years is a long time. But then you're a few years down the line at 27 and think bloody hell those years went effin' quick!!!
But I'm quite excited about tomorrow, there'll be presents in the morning, followed by an outing to Adventureland and a family birthday tea with balloons, cake and candles. I love children's birthdays, watching their excited little faces as they come downstairs to find the pressies and balloons. So much fun.
Expect some pics Monday. :)
