lets talk about nice things
The last entry was a tad depressing so here's something bright and cheery to lift the mood. This is where we're going in June!!
Pretty sweet huh? We definitely need this holiday, it's more of a necessity rather than a luxury now.
Yesterday Hubby was really down and I done my best to be positive and it worked. He came round and stopped being so defeatist. I like to solve problems, I'm not one to mope (usually) over a problem, I like tackling them head on!
The one viable option of saving money and not becoming homeless was stopping the kids nursery day (which they go once a week). Ethan does preschool anyway so he'll not miss it much. And Isabel will prefer being at home with her brother too..Summer's only round the corner so they'll have more fun here, in the garden or doing activities like swimming or heading to the beach instead.
I told the nursery manager today I want to stop their nursery in a month and she'll fully understood our situation. I think everyone's feeling the pinch of late and said just to put it in writing and they'll finish end of April.
Yep, I'm a bit sad over this but it's for the best. We'll save £250 a month this way and get about £100 deposit back too. It'll be nice to have that little spare cash again.
Isabel starts preschool in Sept and Ethan will be starting big school so a few months without nursery shouldn't be a problem. I shouldn't feel guilty about it, but I do. :(
Dave's now feeling more better, lets hope things will be a bit easier for a while.
