all good round here
Everything is fine here.Nothing really to report except life has been treating us a little nicer.
Hubby got a 10% payrise (which to us is a lot of help).
Ethan got allocated a place his first choice primary school. He starts in Sept-eek!!
I've started a health conscious diet and regime. It's not too punishing so I think I can keep it up.
Our holiday is now all paid for so we're very much looking forward to it. :)
We had a lovely family orientated weekend. We had a trip up town and had a lovely lunch in Sloppy Joes. The kids absolutely loved it, especially the big milkshakes they got.
We also found a new shop there-an old fashioned sweet shop. It's brilliant. I think I was more excited than the kids. We bought some pic-n-mix and those Choc Dips we had and adored as kids.
Dave and I had a lovely evening Saturday night drinking beer and watching Stardust. I really enjoyed that film. I like adventures especially silly ones. :)
Sunday we had Dave's parents round. I made a lovely lasagne for tea and it was the best I've ever made. It's definitely one of my signature dishes.
Yep, I'm a right contented soul at the moment. Let's hope it lasts a while!
