I want guinea pigs!!
I have a new desire. That desire is to keep a family of guinea pigs. 3 or 4 in a shared duplex style hutch. It's not really for the kids though I'm sure they'll love the idea. ;) I don't know where these ideas come from but this one I'm really excited about. I won't get them for a while as I have a little holiday coming up and finding care for them might be tricky. And yes Husband has been informed and he knows now I bring home a tiny rasher of the bacon I can spend a little on what I please. I am now a GTA widow. Husband purchased that game and now all I hear these evenings is obscenities and killings. Dave seems quite chirpy having it, though the demand to play online has been really high, so he's a little disappointed not able to connect to that. My new routine continues to go well. I'm looking forward to my first pay and payslip. Haven't had one of those for such a long time! I am going to treat me and Husband to a very nice meal end of May. It'll be our 5th wedding anniversary and I want to go somewhere special. Today was a pretty fun day. The kids no longer attend nursery on Thursdays and being a free day, I took us all up town. I had a few errands to handle so afterwards-after getting soaked numerous times-I pushed the buggy into Pizza Hut and we all enjoyed the buffet lunch while people out in the street had to contend with thunder and lightning. My mum also popped in at the end of the meal as she'd just finished work and me being the naughty mummy that I am got us the icecream factory bowls-and that got the kids excited!! They drizzled on their chocolate sauce and sprinkled the choccy raisins, smarties and marshmallows themselves. That was a very BIG hit indeed!! :) I'm now longing for the weekend as I'm sure you all are. I love Bank Holiday weekends sooo much!! I don't have to work Monday thankfully and I get paid for it!! :) Wooohooo!!!
